Trail Run
Santa Maria Valley Open Space presents Trailpalooza 2025 with 0.0, 5, 10 and 15 mile run options. This is a unique opportunity to run in the majestic Solomon Hills. Experience broad views from the scenic 101 corridor to the historic Bicknell townsite just minutes outside of town.
All distances start from the Newlove Picnic Grounds in the Solomon Hills, south of Orcutt. A 5 mile loop climbs from the picnic grounds then meanders south with some steep climbs eventually making an out and back jaunt to the Solomon Peak and closing the loop back at the Picnic Grounds. Two laps is the 10 mile course and three laps for the 15 mile course. <<distances are approximate>>
All runners receive entry to Trailpalooza Festival with their race entry.
